Portland’s Fashion Night Out this last September 8 was a great success. Columbia Sportswear launched their NEW City Collection Line at their Flagship store in Downtown Portland and Paparazzi Tonight played and integral part in it. We customized the backdrop to look like an issue of Portland Monthly Magazine. Each person/ group of people, looked as though they were on the cover of the magazine, introducing Columbia Sportswear’s new line. The overlay that was used that evening was also unique to the event. Columbia Sportswear’s logo was added to the overlay, as well as the date of the event. The overlay and backdrop were great mediums to display the brand name and emphasize who Columbia Sportswear’s target market is; Portlanders!

These hip and trendy pieces were a huge hit among the 300+ people who attended the launch party. Guests were able to try on jackets galore from the City Collection, modeling each piece in front of Paparazzi Tonight Photo Booth’s camera on the red carpet. Columbia Sportswear has been motivated by their customers for over 70 years, creating outdoor apparel for those who have a passion for the outdoors. Each pair of pants, jackets, boots, etc. go through a series of tests to fit the needs of all those who love being in nature and doing activities outside!

It was our 5th trade show this fall and we had a wonderful time with all our 2011 & a few 2012 brides.  We were demonstrating on site by having an example of our popular red carpet paparazzi-style photo booth available for complimentary photos. We printed instantly on site and showed our fantastic entertainment/wedding favor/guest book solution.

We’d like to give a shout out to Trisha and Alex, Kelsey and Tony, and Victoria and Tobin for booking with us! We look forward to making you weddings fantastic! We are looking forward to heading out to McCall, Idaho for Kelsey and Tony’s wedding. Beautiful country along the Salmon River.

We just finished our second of 8 industry trade shows last weekend. #3 is this weekend, #4 next Tuesday, #5 on 10/20, #6 on 11/21, #7 on  1/15 & 16, and lastly #8 on 2/5 & 6. It’s time consuming and expensive but also rewarding and exciting.  Most wedding & event trade shows fall on the shoulders of summer as this is the general planning season for many types of events. When people attend trade shows it’s to learn about product and services and when companies display at trade shows it’s to showcase their product or service.

We participate in as many wedding & event trade shows as possible. We have always known we are a little “hard to explain”. Other time tested addages like “a picture is worth a thousand words” also come to mind.

It’s face to face demonstrations of the products and services we offer that provides the clearest picture to our customer of the wonderful event experience we provide.

By participating, we establish a presence in the marketplace we want to do business in. It shows we’ll go the extra mile and pay the trade show dollars to say to everyone we can… “We are Paparazzi Tonight and we want to make your event the best ever!!”

By not participating and relying  solely on seo and google adwords, especially for a young company. it’s easy for them to hide behind an online presence and compete on price alone. By showcasin

Brides Against Breast Cancer’s Nationwide Tour of Gowns has teamed up with Food In Bloom & Portland Bride and Groom to Present the Autumn Wedding Expo at Montgomery Park this Friday, Saturday & Sunday. See below for times. As a Portland, Oregon photo booth company, we are delighted to be included with the highest quality wedding vendors Portland has to offer. All vendors were individually approved as providing top-notch service. We will be taking and printing souvenir event pictures all three days.

“Brides Against Breast Cancer” gown sales continue to be important fund-raising events for Making Memories. More than 32 yearly shows provide brides-to-be with an opportunity to find their dream gown (at an incredible savings) while making wishes and dreams come true for women and men who are losing their fight against breast cancer.

The worldwide support of designers, manufacturers, bridal shops and individuals (who donate a most treasured possession) make possible our Nationwide Tour of Gowns sales. The proceeds from these events help bring a moment of joy into world of someone for whom a cure is too late.

We received a recommendation from Event Planner Melody King that “the entertainment for the evening, Paparazzi Tonight & Team Casino,  created great energy and people were really enjoying themselves involved in all the activities. Usually association events disperse fairly early. She deemed it so successful especially since it was the 60th year celebration.

The mission of the Oregon Health Care Association is to promote high quality health care and services through professional development and effective advocacy in the shaping of public and private policy. In 2010, OHCA was recognized as one of THE TOP 3 Best Small Nonprofits to work for in Oregon!
