“Once I saw them in Action!”

Here’s a great perspective review from Laurie Nitschke we found by chance on the web. You can find her at www.abridesbestfriends.com I am the owner of A Bride’s Best Friends, in Vancouver, WA. Following are some of my personal thoughts and observations as I stroll through many aspects of the wedding industry.

Doesn’t every couple dread the possible scenario of a dull, routine wedding reception? You’re having your day of celebration, and everyone you want is invited to be part of it, and it’s boring…what could be worse?

I didn’t really think of a Paparazzi Tonight’s photo booth as being the universal answer for more energy and participation out of guests at an event until I saw them in action. My hubby and I met them at the Rose City Bridal Show, and saw them again at the Brides Against Breast Cancer Bridal Show, at which point we gave in ourselves and took pictures. They were awesome! We took a few pictures, and as soon as we were done, they popped right out of their printer on the spot. I was pretty impressed at how simple and quick it was to get our pictures. I walked over to the table that had all of the props on it, and right next to the vintage hats and odd signs was a book with some blank pages that was used as a guest book. There were cute little messages and well-wishings, along with pictures from the photo booth. Each set of pictures had space for a custom message, which could be the wedding date, the name of the bride and groom, or a short thank-you note from the newlyweds. After I saw that little book, I was sold! Couples are getting creative when it comes to their guest book, so it was a great idea!

The over sized sunglasses, crazy hats, feather boas, and giant wedding rings definitely make this photo booth a little different than the usual wedding photography, and should not be used instead of a regular photographer. This piece of entertainment should be used as a supplementary keepsake to your wedding photos. They can be used as favors for your guests, guestbook entries, or any other use you can think of for these handy, quick pics. Along with the prints you get on the spot, you also get access to all of the photos from your event. Don’t worry, they are password protected so your family and friends can access them as well, but they won’t be public (unless you want them to be).

Our pictures are posted on Paparazzi Tonight’s website…go check them out! Our picture is here: http://photos.paparazzitonight.com/YOURPARTY/Brides-Against-Breast-Cancer/14145698_wNuR7#P-22-15. Put a Bird On It In A Photo Booth without a Booth • I Like It • Portlandia Style

It took about 5 minutes after Portlandia hit the airwaves that our photo booth guests started putting birds on themselves at our events. Portlandites LOVE birds.

I love birds. My Name is Robin, so of course, being just so creative, I collect Robins. A Robin is on the Canadian $2 bill. A Robin is the state bird of Michigan & Connecticut. Robins are early birds and they always get their worms….that’s not so pretty, but I still like it.

Birds somehow make everyone feel happy, free and pretty. Maybe in Oregon it’s because once the birds start singing in spring, there’s hope that the rain will stop. When you hear a Robin singing it’s sweet song in spring, it is such a welcome sound that we all fall instantly in love with birds.

Here’s a poem I like about birds:

Birds

Blue birds,
Yellow birds,
White birds,
Red breasted birds,
Any kind of bird.
I like birds.

Cute birds.
Ugly birds.
Poor birds,
Hungry birds,
Born birds,
Sleeping birds.
I like birds!

A bird in a tree
A bird in a birdhouse
A bird in a cage
A bird in a house
I like birds!

In the bird vein, here are Portlandites from two recent events who put birds on things too and Liked It!

Veronica & Bretley’s Reception Photo Booth

February 12, 2011

“Paparazzi Tonight is a must have at any wedding! We met Robin & Erik at a Macy’s Sip & Scan event. They were the hit of the event. They had all the energy and excitement I wanted at my wedding. We hired them on the spot. Working with them was EASY. They custom designed a layout for my photos that included my favorite flower Birds of Paradise. I added on the option of having 2 screens show a live feed of the pictures that are taken at the party. That was a good choice, throughout the night people got their 15 seconds of fame on the big screen. The guest book they gave me at the end was an amazing memory to take away. Within 24 hours ALL of my guests had a Paparazzi photo as their facebook picture. That’s because Paparazzi upload the pics of your event the night of the party! Impressive! I’ve gone to parties with photobooths before, but they are NOTHING like this! Paparazzi bring out the personalities from otherwise dull guests, they pose you, taunt you, and put on an awesome show!” Veronica Hanson

Let’s Get Ready to Rumble • Corporate Photo Entertainment

Brainstorming session-

Corporate client: So, we’ve got this real boxing ring….Right in our meeting room at the Marriott Waterfront and we want you, Paparazzi Tonight to be right in the middle of the ring! It’s for the party after our annual Sales Meeting. So, what we’re thinking is let’s get photos of our employees sparring with our competitors and playing around like they’re boxing competitors! You take pictures and they get them before they leave the ring!!
It’ll be great team building fun!!
Our slogan will be “LET’S GET READY TO RUUUUUMMMMMMBBBBLEEEE!”
But we’ve gotta keep it a secret until after the sales meeting and then we’ll drop all the 20′ draping to reveal a whole party behind the draping. Can you imagine how everyone will go wild? We’ll have kinetic xbox, punching bags, speed bags, professional boxers in our boxing shorts of our competitors.  Can you do it?
Paparazzi Tonight: yes, Yes, YES…..We’re ready To RUMBLE!!

I have to say, a good Everlast Robe and Spalding Boxing gloves make awesome props! Spirit Media, of Portland Oregon, put on the entire party. Give them a call for all your corporate party needs

REAL PHOTO BOOTH  STORIES

QUINSTREET HOLIDAY PARTY

November, December and January are fantastic months for corporate holiday parties. We do many, many of them….If I counted correctly, 42! Quinstreet had their holiday party at Portland City Grill and they brought along our photobooth entertainment &  Justin Bieber!….he’s kind of a white elephant gift in the office showing up in unexpected places.

Here’s a review from the event coordinator as well as some pics from the night:

Five Stars!!! First and foremost I just have to say that our entire company was MORE than pleased with your services. You and your assistant were amazing and absolutely made the party memorable. I will never look any further than you guys for photo “booth” services. You are top of the line and I look forward to the day we can use you all again. Also, I had multiple people ask for your information to use at their own parties/weddings. Really, I cant say enough about you and your company. GREAT WORK!!! Tracy Shewchuk
