Kaiser Permanente’s Annual Tenure Awards were held at the Portland Art Museum in the Kridel Grand Ballroom October 22, 2009. We were honored to be the event entertainment along with a great band and wonderful cirque style aerial performers.

This was the perfect venue to show off a couple of our newest features; full color theme branded print overlays (pictured above) and the super cool instant video slide show installation (shown below). Every guest in every shot received a print with their four poses surrounded by graphics that matched the event theme. Seconds after each shot was taken everyone were able to see their photos instantly projected as part of the room decor 20′ tall across the ballroom walls. These were a couple of touches that we think really made a spectacular addition to the evening.

This was our second year helping honor the tenured ( a minimum 20+ year employment ) Kaiser Permanente employes. A company party is a great way to thank key employees for their help and support over the past year. Kaiser treats their coworkers GREAT… as shown by all of the 20+ years honorees. We took over 1000 photo throughout the evening of employees and their spouses.

This special event and venue called for some very special custom themed props. Robin began scouring her “secret sources” for months prior looking for just the right mix of vintage, color and themed items. We brought an easel, a wooden color palette, paint brushes, Italian discuss sculpture, golden art frames, impressionist paintings, hats, glasses, scarves and flowers. Guests mimicked the masters by posing as famous works of art with our special little twists. The Thinker, American Gothic and French Styled Street Painter got everyone into the spirit and made some GREAT photos.

We pride ourselves on being able to get people engaged in the shot and to have a creative, great time. When cohesive props are put on, guests feel comfortable in playing a part…we are constantly amazed at the creative things people come up with once they get in front of the camera. Currently we have over 2,000 unique, vintage, themed and one of a kind props to choose from. Propmaster Robin, is ALWAYS on the lookout for that next special piece.

We love to help with posing ideas, costume ideas and getting people to have FUN in front of the camera. Our Hollywood Style lighting is very flattering and never fails to amaze guests by making them look just like stars.

After the party, we retouch EVERY photo before it’s uploaded to the gallery. All of the guests are able to download their original, high resolution, retouched photos free the very next morning. We know they were anxious to see them, because to date, there have been over 60,000 photo views from the event. WOW!
